Meet Allwyn Fitzpatrick

Allwyn has been part of Montessori classrooms since she was 2 weeks old, as both of her parents were AMI-trained Montessori teachers and eventually administrators. After attending Cal State Northridge, she earned her AMI Montessori diploma from the Montessori Institute of San Diego in 2002 and her NAMTA Adolescent Diploma in 2003. She taught at the Lower and Upper Elementary levels for more than 15 years and ran a thriving adolescent program focused on developing a farming and microeconomy program as well as a world travel curriculum. Her son, now in college, was also a Montessori student. Allwyn believes a Montessori education can change the lens of how one looks at the world and the people involved and enjoys supporting parents through their children’s educational experience. In her spare time, she loves playing and watching sports, singing, dancing, and reading.
