Welcome to Springmont

Years ago, Springmont was right for my child and for me.  He graduated our Middle School and went on to high school and college, and I still love it here.  Engaged Learning, Stewardship of the Environment, Creativity, Authenticity, Gift of Time, Global Awareness, Mutual Respect.  These Core Values are words we at Springmont live by every day.  These values are visible – both literally and figuratively.  They are depicted on walls throughout campus, but more importantly, they live within our students and staff.

Our park-like, 7-acre campus abounds in beauty and activity.  Gardens, animals and creative work and play spaces are just a small part of what makes Springmont unique.  Amidst all of the beauty you will find students actively engaged in learning.  Their imaginations are sparked, and they are encouraged to discover.  Springmont students freely choose their work and see teachers as resources.  Lessons here are rife with collaboration and discovery – they are experienced, not just taught.

Yes, there are many schools from which to choose in the Atlanta area.  But Springmont is more than “school.”  Springmont is a community of students who love school – a community of parents who support and engage with one another – a community of highly experienced educators who care beyond their lesson plans.

I encourage you to tour Springmont.  Once on campus you will notice our difference.  Choosing a school is somewhat like searching for a home – you know if it feels right as soon as you walk through.  I look forward to working with you and your family.

Sincerely,
