STARRY GARDEN NIGHt Auction Gala — April 25, 2026

 

The annual auction is fast approaching! This year’s auction, Starry Garden Night, will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta–Buckhead. Stay tuned to our weekly newsletter for more information about donations, ticket sales, and sponsorship opportunities.

The evening will feature both silent and live auctions, along with games and dancing. All proceeds directly benefit Springmont students by supporting campus enhancements, enriching educational experiences, and providing tuition assistance to families. Don’t miss this spectacular night of elegance and fun.

We’re also thrilled to welcome back Devon Chin of Bid Dawg Auctions to lead the auction, with musical selections by DJ Blaq Label. And last but certainly not least, our favorite weather forecaster—WSB-TV meteorologist Brian Monahan—will once again serve as emcee.

FAQs: 

How can I be part of the auction planning?

Parents, alumni, and friends of Springmont are all encouraged to be part of the event planning and logistics.  Volunteers are needed to help create classroom art projects, procure auction items and experiences, solicit sponsorships, promote ticket sales, and help with the event menu and décor. What is the date and location of the event?

The auction will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2025, at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta - Buckhead, located at 3300 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, Georgia.

What time does the event start?

The evening begins at 6:00 pm with a cocktail hour and silent auction. The live auction and program will follow shortly after.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is Evening Garden Chic (Cocktail - Semiformal Attire… you decide). Guests are encouraged to wear cocktail-to-semiformal evening attire, with an emphasis on lighter fabrics and pastel or jewel-toned colors for a “garden” feel. 

What is included in the evening’s program?

The event includes:

  • A cocktail hour starting at 6:00 PM, featuring a silent auction, photo moments, and opportunities to mingle.
  • A selection of heavy hors d'oeuvres and a variety of beverages throughout the evening.
  • A live auction with exciting items and experiences to bid on.
  • Themed entertainment, games, and opportunities to connect with the Springmont community.
     
Will there be assigned seating?

Assigned seating will be available exclusively for certain sponsor levels. For general attendees, the event offers a mix-and-mingle format, allowing guests to enjoy the evening in a relaxed and social atmosphere.

How do I purchase tickets or become a sponsor?

Tickets and sponsorships can be purchased online beginning March 9th. Early-bird pricing for individual tickets is $125 through March 27th and includes 2 drink tickets. Standard ticket pricing is $150 per person and begins March 28th. Sponsorship packages are also available starting at $500.

Is there a discount room rate for event guests?

Yes, there is a room block available for event guests, with single room rates starting as low as $219 per night. Be sure to book early to secure this special rate. The booking link will be available March 9th at ticket checkout. 

What does the auction support?

All proceeds from the auction directly benefit Springmont students by funding campus enhancements, enriching educational experiences, and providing tuition assistance to families.

How can I donate to the auction?

We welcome donations of items, services, or experiences for the auction. Donations can be sent to:

Are sponsorships available?

Yes! Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels, including Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Sponsors receive recognition at the event and in event materials as well as a host of other benefits. For more information, contact Karen Poyser at 404-252-3910 or kpoyser@springmont.com. 

Can I attend the event without participating in the auction?

Absolutely! While we encourage everyone to participate in the silent or live auction to support Springmont’s mission, you are welcome to purchase a ticket and join us to enjoy the evening’s festivities.

What if I cannot attend?

There are still several meaningful ways you can participate and support Springmont:

  • Donate: You can contribute directly to Springmont by making a monetary donation. Every gift helps fund educational enhancements and financial assistance for families.
  • Bid Remotely: Some auction items may be available for online bidding. Check our website closer to the event date for details on how to participate remotely.
  • Purchase InstaBuys: Support the event by purchasing InstaBuys—special fixed-price items or experiences available online for immediate purchase. InstaBuys are a fun and easy way to contribute while securing something special.
  • Sponsor the Event: Consider becoming an event sponsor. Sponsors receive recognition, even if they cannot attend in person.
  • Donate an Auction Item: Contribute an item, service, or experience for the silent or live auction to add to the event’s success.
  • Spread the Word: Share information about the event with friends, family, or colleagues who may be interested in attending or supporting Springmont.
     
What forms of payment are accepted at the auction?

We accept credit cards for both the silent and live auctions, and game tickets. Payment stations will be available throughout the evening.
