Front Desk Coordinator
Springmont seeks a warm and engaging person to welcome families and visitors and support our administrative team 3 days a week (7:30 am – 6:00 pm). Responsibilities include greeting parents, visitors, and late students upon arrival, directing each appropriately while maintaining security procedures; answering and directing phone calls; supporting administrators; processing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries; placing office supply and other orders; keeping areas clean and orderly; and other general office duties.
Qualifications:
- A positive, pleasant, and approachable attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills
- Ability to handle confidential information and work collaboratively and effectively with others to meet common goals and deadlines
- Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and multitask
- Punctual and reliable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, comfortable with technology, and experienced in an office setting
Compensation ranges from $20 to $22 hourly, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off, and matching retirement savings opportunities. Ideal candidates have experience working in a school setting and are available to begin on or near July 27, 2026.

Lower Elementary Teacher
Springmont School is currently accepting resumes from AMI-certified Elementary Teachers interested in joining our thriving Montessori community for the 2026-27 school year. Our current opening is in Lower Elementary.
Serving 240 students 18 months through 8th grade, Springmont is AMI-recognized and has been providing an exceptional Montessori experience since 1963. Our mission is to provide a learning environment where diversity of thought and a global perspective empower students to be inquisitive, knowledgeable, independent, compassionate, and effective. In addition to our beautiful 7-acre main campus, which includes a small farm, students benefit from our 86-acre Landschool in the northwest Georgia mountains, as well as distinctive outdoor science education and fine arts programs.

Classroom Substitutes
Springmont is currently accepting resumes for Classroom Substitutes to work with children in our Toddler (18 months – 3 years), Primary (3 - 6 years), Elementary (6 - 12 years) and Middle School (12 - 14 years) classes. Prior experience working with children of various ages is essential and a working knowledge of Montessori education is preferred. Flexibility is a must.
