Primary Teacher

Serving 240 students 18 months through 8th grade, Springmont is AMI-recognized and has been providing an exceptional Montessori experience since 1963. Our mission is to provide a learning environment where diversity of thought and a global perspective empower students to be inquisitive, knowledgeable, independent, compassionate, and effective. In addition to our beautiful 7-acre main campus, which includes a small farm, students benefit from our 86-acre Land School in the northwest Georgia mountains, as well as distinctive outdoor science education and fine arts programs.

Auxiliary Programs Coordinator
Springmont is currently accepting resumes for an Auxiliary Programs Coordinator (APC) to manage various non-academic programs, ensuring smooth operation and student well-being. This role will be responsible for designing and executing auxiliary programs, including but not limited to Extended Day, Enrichment, and school break Camps, in coordination with academic Division Heads. Depending on the school’s needs, the APC will assist with or lead physical education programming for Elementary and Middle School students.
The ideal candidate takes initiative, is flexible, has patience, and possesses creativity and lots of energy. Exhibiting good judgment and an enthusiasm for working with children, especially elementary-age students, is a must. Prior experience working with children of various ages is essential, and a working knowledge of Montessori education is preferred. Classroom Substitutes
Springmont is currently accepting resumes for Classroom Substitutes to work with children in our Toddler (18 months – 3 years), Primary (3 - 6 years), Elementary (6 - 12 years) and Middle School (12 - 14 years) classes. Prior experience working with children of various ages is essential and a working knowledge of Montessori education is preferred. Flexibility is a must.
