Elementary Teachers
Springmont School is currently accepting resumes from Elementary teachers interested in joining our thriving Montessori community for the 2021-22 school year. 
 
Serving 240 students 18 months through 8th grade, Springmont is AMI recognized and has been providing an exceptional Montessori experience since 1963. Director of Finance
Springmont School is searching for an exceptional person with a mind for business and a heart for schools to join our non-profit team immediately.  This is a full-time, senior-level position in independent school finance and requires accounting, management, and HR experience and understanding.  Business Office responsibilities span bookkeeping and payroll to financial strategic financial planning and annual audits. 
 
Qualifications required:
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related School Finance field – CPA experience is a plus
  • Minimum 5 years accounting experience, preferably in non-profit independent school business and operation
  • Working knowledge of employment-related laws including HIPPA, EEO, FLSA
Responsibilities include:
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to the Head of School and Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees
  • Assisting with annual budgeting, including setting tuition and tuition assistance
  • Managing day to day bookkeeping, including general ledger, monthly departmental statements, bank accounts, credit card transactions, and payment plans/receivables
  • Managing vendor contracts and accounts payable
  • Managing benefits and payroll for all personnel
  • Preparing annual employment agreements and managing background checks
  • Managing compliance with finance, HR, and workers’ comp laws
  • Coordinating annual review of financial data

Digital Marketing Data Analyst
Do you know Digital Media? Can you help Springmont collect, rationalize and analyze social media and web data to determine the performance and efficacy of our digital marketing initiatives?
 
If you’ve got experience creating reports/dashboards of KPIs for digital media to better inform segmentation, engage key audiences and determine ROI, we want your help!
  • Translate various metrics and reports received into a uniform, easily digestible format
  • Create a plug-and-play dashboard for ongoing data input
We also need your knowledge of SEO, ad retargeting, and pixels.

Classroom Substitutes
Springmont is currently accepting resumes for Classroom Substitutes to work with children in our Toddler (18 months – 3 years), Primary (3 - 6 years), Elementary (6 - 12 years) and Middle School (12 - 14 years) classes.  Prior experience working with children of various ages is essential and a working knowledge of Montessori education is preferred.  Flexibility is a must.
