Springmont’s Strategic Plan, adopted in May 2025, is designed to focus our efforts on priorities most important to our continued success and aims to unite our school community around shared goals rooted in our mission and vision. Key focus areas include fostering meaningful community engagement, ensuring the sustainability of our finances and facilities, deepening our commitment to creating an inclusive and equitable environment, and strengthening our dedication to authentic, high-quality Montessori education.

STRATEGIC PRIORITY STATEMENTS & STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

Springmont will foster a culture where all community members are aligned with and actively promote our mission, core values, and the unique benefits of Montessori education.

Springmont will: 

  • Prioritize our mission & culture in all operational decision-making.
  • Cultivate a community that reflects our core values through intentional recruitment and retention.
  • Foster meaningful community engagement with mission-aligned events, educational opportunities, and consistent communication.
  • Increase awareness of our school by enhancing our brand and strengthening relationships with local organizations and stakeholders.  

Springmont is dedicated to actively building an inclusive community that reflects the diversity of the world around us. We are committed to creating an environment where every individual sees themselves represented, diverse experiences and perspectives are celebrated, and our shared dedication to belonging is embedded in all aspects of school life.

Springmont will: 

  • Implement proactive strategies to enhance diversity and inclusion, shaped by the perspectives of all community members.
  • Cultivate a culture of belonging where every member of the community feels seen, valued, and actively supported.
  • Offer and encourage professional development opportunities that enhance cultural competence and foster a sense of belonging.
  • Create opportunities for active engagement beyond our community, promoting learning from diverse perspectives. 
     

Springmont will honor and advance an authentic Montessori pedagogy that strives to meet the evolving needs of today’s diverse learners. Our unique approach prepares students to become the best versions of themselves—informed, determined, socially-conscious, collaborative, and resourceful—living examples of an education that nurtures the whole person.

Springmont will: 

  • Honor and uphold AMI Montessori principles through ongoing professional development and training to ensure the authenticity and quality of our practice.
  • Integrate AMI Montessori methods with contemporary educational tools and auxiliary programming to meet the diverse learning needs of our students, ensuring personalized approaches that address each child’s strengths and challenges.
  • Develop and share metrics that demonstrate the educational impact of our approach and ensure transparency in student outcomes. 
     

Springmont will strategically enhance our campus infrastructure to strengthen our programs and core values. Through thoughtful facility development, we will create a prepared environment that supports our educational mission, while ensuring long-term financial sustainability and operational resilience.

Springmont will: 

  • Develop and implement a long-term campus master plan that supports our programs while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students and staff.
  • Design and maintain learning environments that are reflective of Montessori principles.
  • Steward our outdoor resources, including the Landschool campus, by embracing sustainable practices and environmental education.
  • Implement data-driven enrollment strategies to maintain a balanced student population.
