Welcoming Lower Elementary Teacher Pragathi Pulimamidy

We are pleased to share that we have hired Pragathi Pulimamidy to be a Lower Elementary Teacher beginning in August! Pragathi moved here with her family from Hyderabad, India, last year, where she worked as an AMI elementary teacher for 16 years. Like many of our teachers, she became interested in Montessori first as a parent and then began her journey into teaching. She trained with Greg MacDonald, the same trainer that Patricia Jordan had - small world! Pragathi is a warm and patient teacher who knows from experience that Montessori brings out the best in each child. She has been working this past year at Montessori at Vickery in Cumming and is eager to return to an established AMI school. Pragathi will join Selena Hamer in making up next year’s Lower Elementary lead teacher team.
