Dear Families,

We are excited to welcome your children back to school this week! Our faculty and staff were hard at work last week cleaning and preparing classrooms, taking trainings on everything from safety drills and CPR to employee policies and Montessori pedagogy, and participating in meetings at all levels to ensure we are ready for students.

We know from experience that the best outcomes come from open and regular communication between home and school. Please make a point to read this newsletter each week, as well as monthly newsletters from your child’s teacher, and communications from Room Parents and Division Heads. And do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher with any questions and concerns. Teachers are generally not on computers during the school day, but we try to respond within 24 hours during the week.

We look forward to an amazing partnership with you starting with Opening Night on Thursday, August 27, 6:30-8:30 pm. This adult-only event is a great way to get to know other families in your child’s class, as well as learn about tips and guidelines from teachers.
