It's always our pleasure to host such important members of our extended Springmont community! From glimpses of our Outdoor Education program and the Upper Elementary Musical to the Spanish poem and Bee Song performed by students, the program in the Pavilion captivated and delighted our audience. Classroom visits allowed students to share lessons, work and friendships, illustrating the everyday experiences that make Springmont extraordinary. It wouldn’t be spring at Springmont unless Elementary classrooms were home to baby chicks! Ellen’s Upper Elementary students, pictured here, are experts at ensuring these little ones have the food, water, and warmth they need. Students also make sure our flock is accustomed to human touch, helping them become friendly, intelligent, and sociable. In addition to learning how living things grow and change, students practice responsibility, patience, and empathy and gain a deeper appreciation for the world around them. Extraordinary!

Thank you to everyone who helped make Denim & Diamonds, Springmont’s 60th Anniversary Auction, a resounding success! Celebrating this milestone and raising funds for the many things that make Springmont so extraordinary was possible due to the efforts and generosity of our volunteers, teachers and staff, sponsors, and attendees, including alumni families and special guests, Joe Seidel and Lilian Bryan.
