Toddler Parent Education - Feb 5!

Toddler parents/guardians are invited to our Toddler Parent Education event, Screen Time: Striking a Healthy Balance, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, 4:30-5:30 p.m. in Zaiba’s Classroom.
If you’ve ever handed over your phone or tablet to your toddler and then tried to take it back, you’ve probably experienced the meltdown that follows! While screens have become an unavoidable part of modern life and can buy you a few minutes of desperately needed entertainment for your child, you might wonder about how much screen time is appropriate for your young child’s developing mind.
Join Toshia, Zaiba, and Remzije for a light-hearted yet insightful conversation exploring the fascinating discoveries scientists are making about how technology rewires your child’s brain, why screentime impacts focus and behavior, and - most importantly - how to strike a healthy balance. You’ll leave with practical strategies to reduce screen time without battles, ideas for fun screen-free activities, and maybe even a renewed sense of calm. Let’s turn off our screens (at least for an hour!) and tune in to some real-life solutions together!
- Complimentary childcare is available 4:30-5:30 p.m. in Remzije’s classroom for currently enrolled Half Day & School Day Toddler students (All Day Toddlers do not need to be pre-registered.)
- Elementary & Middle School students may be registered for our fee-based Extended Day program.
- Unfortunately, Primary students and non-enrolled siblings cannot be accommodated.
- Due to limited on-campus parking, we ask that each family bring just one vehicle to campus.
Kindly click the link in Springmont Weekly News and reserve Toddler childcare by 3 p.m. on Monday, February 3.
