As part of Upper Elementary’s Outdoor Science Education program, students were supposed to hatch some chicken eggs in the classroom. However, due to Learning from Home, the eggs were incubated in the Wolfersberger home! Video lessons were shared with Upper Elementary students so they could still watch and be part of this amazing process. Over the last 3 weeks, students conducted “egg-speriments” and learned about eggs and embryos. Videos of the candled eggs allowed students regular inside views of the developing chicks. Yesterday, right on schedule, the first chick hatched followed by another a few hours later!
