As we gear up for our 31st Springmont Festival & Montessori Mile on Saturday, October 17th, we are excited to offer Elementary & Middle School students an opportunity to design the official, commemorative t-shirt! 

Here’s what your Elementary or Middle School student needs to know:

• Designs must be the student’s own original work and ideas. Students may draw by hand OR utilize Canva or AI. If hand-drawn, use bold, clean lines (for best printing results).
• Designs must include:
  • “Springmont School” or our logo
  • the words “Running with a Purpose ”.
  • a running or movement element (e.g., runners, footprints, track)
  • Optional but encouraged: Elements that reflect Montessori philosophy (nature, peace, community, hands-on learning).
• Colors:  
  • Designs may include up to 2 colors (for printing efficiency). Colors used by students may be changed depending on t-shirt color availability.
  • Designs should work on a sky blue, pumpkin orange or grass green shirt.
• Use 8.5” x 11” plain white paper (portrait or landscape). No notebook paper or lined backgrounds.) Artwork may be downsized to fit on the shirt.
• Write your name and class on the back only (not on the front design).
• One entry per student.
• Deadline: Submit designs to Tiffany by Wednesday, September 9th at 3:00 p.m.
