Springmont Fund Reminder

As you may know, Springmont's tuition funds the routine operating expenses of the school, but as a 501(c)(3), fundraising provides for capital improvements, program enhancements, and other strategic initiatives. This year’s Springmont Fund will benefit enhancements to our Outdoor Learning environments. Teachers and students are excited about the possibilities for classroom garden enhancements and upgraded structures for our barnyard friends! Our goal is 100% parent participation. A gift or pledge of any size is appreciated and will help provide the "extras" so vital to your child's Montessori education.

It wouldn’t be spring at Springmont unless Elementary classrooms were home to baby chicks! Ellen’s Upper Elementary students, pictured here, are experts at ensuring these little ones have the food, water, and warmth they need. Students also make sure our flock is accustomed to human touch, helping them become friendly, intelligent, and sociable. In addition to learning how living things grow and change, students practice responsibility, patience, and empathy and gain a deeper appreciation for the world around them. Extraordinary!
