Please Join Us for Strategic Planning Listening Sessions
As noted in Head of School Elizabeth Lener’s email last week, Springmont is undertaking a strategic planning process, which aims to ensure the collective aspirations of our community are realized and that the long-term financial and academic success and sustainability of the school are guaranteed for future generations of students.
One of the key elements of this process is the ongoing engagement of our stakeholders. Parents/guardians are invited to participate in the next phase of our information-gathering process by taking part in a listening session with our Triangle Associates consultants, Marc Frankel and Abbi DeLessio. This is an opportunity to share your perspectives and insights about what you believe to be most important for the long-term sustainability of Springmont, including areas of strength and improvement and initiatives on which the school should focus to ensure long-term success.
Please sign up for the session that works with your schedule and fits you best. If you have children in Toddler or Primary as well as Elementary or Middle School, please go to the session for Elementary and Middle School if possible. All sessions are in-person in the Media Center except for the November 18th Zoom.
- Monday, Nov 11: 8:45-9:35 am Toddler/Primary Parent session (limited to 15 via sign up)
- Monday, Nov 11: 4:20-5:10 pm Parent session for families who identify as being part of historically marginalized groups—and allies. This session provides a welcoming space to diverse perspectives and experiences as part of the Springmont strategic planning process. Contributing these voices is critical to the plan’s long-term success. (session limited to 15 via sign up)
- Tuesday, Nov 12: 9:15-10:05 am Elementary/Middle School Parent session (limited to 15 via sign up). This session follows the SPA (Springmont Parent Association) meeting scheduled for 8:45–9:15 am.
- Monday, Nov 18: Open Parent session by Zoom 7–8 pm (pre-registration requested)
Please click the link in Springmont Weekly News by 3 pm on Friday, Nov 8, to select your preferred session. Many thanks in advance for your participation and for taking the time to share your insights and perspectives with us. Your partnership and support of this process is critical to its success, and we remain grateful for your engagement.
Alumni and alumni families have also been invited to a listening session via Zoom on Nov. 19. Please email info@springmont.com for more info.
