Typically, our Volunteer of the Year is announced and celebrated at our school-wide Opening Night gathering, but health and safety precautions made level by level Back to School Nights a safer alternative this year. Nonetheless, we are very happy and excited to name Sarah Fox as our 2020-21 Volunteer of the Year!  Sarah has been an engaged parent volunteer for the last two school years. In addition to helping with our Spirit Store at school events, last year Sarah headed the Faculty/Staff Appreciation Committee, a much larger than usual undertaking as the Springmont Parent Association made supporting our teachers a monthly campaign, rather than just twice during the school year.  From tasty soups and a snack buffet to gift cards and other treats, Springmont's faculty and staff have never felt more appreciated, especially during such a difficult year. Sarah's superb planning and careful management of each effort made it easy for parents to pitch in and delightful for teachers to receive.  Thank you, Sarah!
