Meet Upper Elementary & Middle School

Thursday, Nov. 29, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Springmont's Elementary and Middle School faculty invite parents (and 6th-year students accompanied by parents) to explore Springmont’s Upper Elementary and Middle School curriculum. Join us for refreshments and conversation followed by classroom tours and lesson demonstrations from faculty and Middle School students. See how Upper Elementary both deepens and expands upon the Lower Elementary experience while Middle School prepares students to be independent, active learners in high school and beyond. Don’t miss today’s Bake Sale hosted by Nathalie’s Upper Elementary class! It’s the final one for this school year and students will soon be dropping off their Spring Semester proceeds to organizations of their choice. They will be selling rainbow swirl bread, blueberry loaves, and lime pound cakes in the Pavilion beginning at 3:15. Yum! Cash only, please!

It finally feels like spring, and Primary students are busy in classroom gardens! In addition to engaging young children’s innate sense of curiosity, wonder, and joy, gardening helps children develop an appreciation for the natural world and builds the foundation for environmental stewardship, mindsets essential to taking care of our planet!
