Please join Dr. Ann and Dr. Kimberly for Coffee with the Counselors: Transitions Great and Small - Helping Children and Ourselves Navigate Change on Monday, April 8th, beginning at 8:30.   

As we look toward the end of our school year and prepare for transitions to summer activities, anticipate move-ups to new classes in August, or, in the case of our 8th-year students' parents, ponder high school, Ann and Kimberly are pleased to offer an informal opportunity for connection. All Springmont parents and caregivers are welcome to attend and bring questions or thoughts for discussion. 

As we lean into mindful presence and courage in transitions, we are reminded of Dr. Maria Montessori's words on adapting - "We must give him the means and encourage him. 'Courage, my dear, courage! You are a new man that must adapt to the new world. Go on triumphantly.  I am here to help you.' This kind of encouragement is instinctive in those who love children."  
This will be our final Coffee with Counselors for the school year. We look forward to the discussion!
