Get Ready for Spirit Week!

With your cheerleader voice: We’ve got spirit. Yes, we do! We’ve got spirit, how ‘bout you? Say it louder! Demonstrate your spirit during Springmont’s Spirit Week, Tuesday-Friday, October 15 – 18.

Spirit Week is all about fostering school pride and community. It’s a fun way to engage everyone with themed days, activities, and events that encourage participation and creativity. Please join in the fun and help us create lasting memories.
We are kicking off spirit week with Tie-Dye Tuesday, followed by Wacky Sock Wednesday, Team Sport Thursday, and School Pride Friday. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to put on your tie-dye, pull up your wacky socks, and show off your favorite sports team apparel on Thursday. On Friday, everyone should celebrate Springmont by wearing their Springmont gear or a burgundy-colored shirt.
Wrap up the week by joining us at the Springmont Festival & Montessori Mile on Saturday, October 19!

Our Queen Bee has lots of Springmont spirit and will be joined by other fun friends at the Springmont Festival & Montessori Mile! Who do you think this might be? Make sure to join us on October 19 to find out!

Stop by the Pavilion for Nathalie’s Class Bake Sale tomorrow (Fri, Oct 4), beginning at 3:15! Students have baked Maple Snickerdoodles, Pumpkin Loaves, Spooky French Loaves, and Buttermilk Rosemary Bread. Proceeds from bake sales are reinvested in baking supplies, and profits are periodically donated to causes selected by the students. We are so happy that our students see beyond themselves and want to lead socially useful and purposeful lives!

Primary afternoon students were delighted with today's visit from New York Times Bestselling Children's Picture Book Illustrator AG Ford. He showed how his illustrations are derived from basic shapes we can all draw and allowed the children to make cover art suggestions for a future book! He also read his latest book, Garbage Truck to the Rescue! A few autographed copies are still available – contact Media Center Specialist Leslie Wachter.
