Family Work Weekend & Overnight Opportunity at the Landschool - Sept 26 & 27

We are excited to offer families the opportunity to join our Trustees, Outdoor Education staff, and Head of School for our annual volunteer work weekend at the Landschool! If you are available and interested, please mark your calendars for Saturday, September 26, starting at 11 am, and Sunday, September 27, 9 am-noon.
There are a variety of jobs, ranging from inventory organization to carpentry, trail work, interior painting, landscaping, tree maintenance, and more! You can join for a few hours on either day or plan to come Saturday and spend the night. Those staying overnight are welcome to sleep in the lodge or bring their own tent. Also, if anyone in your family would like to fish, please bring your fishing gear. This is a rain-or-shine family event with work options for most ages/skill levels.
If you would like to participate, please email Upper Elementary Teacher Thomson Chuites at tchuites@springmont.com by Wednesday, September 23, at 3 pm with your availability, the number of adults and children attending, and the skills/proficiencies you can offer. Everyone is welcome!
