The first meeting of the Springmont Parent Association (SPA) for the 2021-22 school year will be held via Zoom this Friday, September 3, beginning at 9 a.m. All parents are members of our parent association and welcome to join us!

In the meantime or if you can't attend, make sure to join SPA's Slack channel to be connected with other engaged parents!

It finally feels like spring, and Primary students are busy in classroom gardens! In addition to engaging young children’s innate sense of curiosity, wonder, and joy, gardening helps children develop an appreciation for the natural world and builds the foundation for environmental stewardship, mindsets essential to taking care of our planet!

Remzije’s students were fascinated to watch Springmont’s friendly Facilities Manager making small repairs to their garden gate! Toddlers learn so much by observing the world and people around them, including patience, new vocabulary, and in this case, how tools work and how tasks are completed. Thank you, Mr. Juan!
