Don't Miss Friday's Bake Sale

Nathalie's Upper Elementary Class is busy in the kitchen this week as they prepare to host a Bake Sale this Friday, January 20, beginning at 3:00 p.m. in the Pavilion. They are raising funds for their upcoming trip to Chattanooga, which will include a visit to the Bessie Smith Cultural Center and an overnight at Springmont's Landschool in North Georgia. Customers can look forward to coconut macaroons and pies featuring artisan crusts! Cash only, please.

Don’t miss today’s Bake Sale hosted by Nathalie’s Upper Elementary class! It’s the final one for this school year and students will soon be dropping off their Spring Semester proceeds to organizations of their choice. They will be selling rainbow swirl bread, blueberry loaves, and lime pound cakes in the Pavilion beginning at 3:15. Yum! Cash only, please!

It finally feels like spring, and Primary students are busy in classroom gardens! In addition to engaging young children’s innate sense of curiosity, wonder, and joy, gardening helps children develop an appreciation for the natural world and builds the foundation for environmental stewardship, mindsets essential to taking care of our planet!
