Celebrate Your Child's Birthday with a Birthday Book!

Donating a book to Springmont's Media Center is a wonderful way to celebrate and commemorate your child's birthday! Media Center Specialist Leslie Wachter will help your child select a newly purchased book from the school's wishlist. A custom bookplate, notating your child's name and the donor information included on the order form below, will be placed inside the front cover, and your child will be the first to check out the special book!

So that the book is ready on your child's birthday, please click here to place your order now. If you have multiple children, please submit one form and payment for each child.

On Friday, parents joined students in Brenda’s class garden for an afternoon of fall planting. Gardening is an important part of Springmont’s curriculum, allowing students to learn about botany, measuring, responsibility, patience, and more! Thank you to the parents who generously gave the Gift of Time! Sharing school experiences is a great way to show children that the adults in their lives value them and their education.

Springmont has visitors! Thirteen four-legged weed eaters from Glitzy Goats have been hired to clear the weeds and brush from the retention area behind the Elementary building. Eating for about 16 hours a day, each goat can consume about 10 lbs. of vegetation daily. Not only is this method more environmentally friendly and in keeping with our core value, Stewardship of the Environment, but it’s also cost-effective!
