Bravo! for James and the Giant Peach Jr.

After months of practice and rehearsals, Upper Elementary students presented this year's musical, Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach, Jr. to a packed house on Friday evening. Congratulations to the students and a big thank you to Music Teacher Carissa Gibson and Springmont parent and choreographer Jan Margaret Llorey for creating such a positive student experience and wonderful show! Don’t miss today’s Bake Sale hosted by Nathalie’s Upper Elementary class! It’s the final one for this school year and students will soon be dropping off their Spring Semester proceeds to organizations of their choice. They will be selling rainbow swirl bread, blueberry loaves, and lime pound cakes in the Pavilion beginning at 3:15. Yum! Cash only, please!

It finally feels like spring, and Primary students are busy in classroom gardens! In addition to engaging young children’s innate sense of curiosity, wonder, and joy, gardening helps children develop an appreciation for the natural world and builds the foundation for environmental stewardship, mindsets essential to taking care of our planet!
