Meet MySha Whorley

Hometown: Silver Spring, MD

MySha received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Ball State University and her Master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Clark University. Her graduate certificate in executive coaching is from William James College.

MySha's best friend in college was an education major and a proponent of Montessori methodology. When MySha had her own children, she remembered how passionate her friend was, and after looking into it, realized how well Montessori aligned with her own parenting philosophy of autonomy and holistic development.

MySha enjoys board games, planning vacations (which she sometimes actually takes), and live sporting events. Eventually, she plans to tackle her bucket list of learning to play the guitar and speaking Spanish. Her favorite book is Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, a 700+ page book that she probably wouldn’t have the time or attention span to read today!

Fun Fact: MySha has been on television more than once, including a segment on a children’s exercise show and once on CNN, where she asked a question of Oliver North.
