Meet Jinali Desai

Hometown: Nairobi, Kenya

Jinali Desai, PharmD, MBA, MPH, is a Vice President at CVS Health. Originally from Nairobi, Kenya, she now calls Atlanta home and holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Georgia, along with an MBA and MPH from Emory University. 

What she loves about Montessori is that it educates the whole child — Springmont respects each child's individuality and builds curiosity, independence, and confidence, the kind of foundation that lasts far beyond the classroom. She has seen it firsthand in her two daughters, watching their love of learning take root and grow. 

Outside of school, Jinali is passionate about transforming healthcare to put people at the center of care and about advancing health equity in diverse communities. In her minimal free time, she loves taking on the challenge of learning something new and practicing it until it sticks. Her favorite book is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

Fun fact: Jinali has a skipper's license and hopes to pick up sailing one day.
