Meet Aarati Subramaniam

Hometown: Aarati has lived all over the East Coast but went to high school in Columbia, SC.

After attending Smith College, Aarati earned her law degree at Emory University School of Law.

Aarati is a Montessori kid! Her mother is a retired Montessori teacher, and Aarati attended Montessori from toddler through second grade. She loves the independence it both allows and fosters!

Aarati's passions include international cooking and baking, and she counts Children of the Alley by Naguib Mahfouz and The Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy among her favorite books!

Fun Fact: Aarati once handed Gloria Steinem some Oreo cookies!
