How Montessori Math Creates Enthusiastic Learners

Demonstrations begin every 15 minutes and childcare is available.

Math - hard, boring or difficult to understand? Although math sometimes suffers these reputations, Montessori children often have a different relationship with math. Math is presented in fun, age-appropriate ways, and, just like other areas, lessons allow for repetition and creativity. Montessori children are able to understand advanced concepts by manipulating concrete materials that allow them to actually see math operations happening before their very eyes. You, too, can experience this, as our Primary Teachers offer demonstrations of the math lessons your children receive.

Drop in for a few minutes to see how the golden beads teach math facts, discover equivalence with fraction circles, or turn dots into numbers in the millions! Demonstrations will begin every fifteen minutes, 4:15-5:45 p.m., followed by time to work with the materials yourself.

Kindly R.S.V.P. by 1 p.m. on January 22.
