Lower Elementary Assistant

B.A. (History) - Georgia State University

Hometown: Stone Mountain, GA

Selena joined Springmont in 2022 after learning about Montessori in one of her education courses at Georgia State and serving as an Assistant at another local Montessori school. She loves how Montessori fosters independence and nurtures children's drive to learn. Selena has 2 cats and a dog and enjoys community service, cooking, and travel.

Fun Fact: While working at Books for Africa, Selena was featured on PBS Newshour, discussing the importance of books and reading.
