Saturday's Family Work Weekend & Overnight was amazing! With almost 60 people showing up to help, 45 enjoying the pasta dinner, and about 25 spending the night, this was a record-breaking attendance. While many hands were put to work on cleaning, organizing, repairs, trail work, and gutter cleaning, there was also plenty of time for community building, exploring, and s'mores! Did you know that when not in use by our school community, Springmont's Landschool is available for family and corporate rentals? This 86-acre mountain retreat, located in Summerville, Georgia, just 80 miles northwest of our Atlanta campus, is situated in the foothills of the Appalachian Trail. The property includes a small stream, a grassy area, and trails. The lodge has two large bunkrooms, two communal bathrooms, a large kitchen, a covered porch, and a large fire pit.
