Springmont's Robotics Team

Springmont's Robotics Team of Upper Elementary students have begun designing, building and programming an autonomous robot using LEGO Mindstorms technology. This experiential, collaborative STEM program exposes students to science and engineering principles while fostering teamwork and building critical thinking skills. Students will attend two training sessions at Grady High School before participating in a tournament.

Despite the summer heat, Springmont’s shady Toddler Playground was the perfect setting for this morning’s Toddler Playdate. While parents/caregivers chatted with each other and school staff, children enjoyed the play structures as well as the balls, bikes, and other outdoor toys. Opportunities to connect with the school environment and other families are beneficial to students and their parents!

Celebrating Springmont’s 2025 graduates isn’t just an Atlanta thing – it’s a Florida thing, too! We hope all our graduates are spreading their wings; we look forward to seeing you back on campus for our Springmont Festival, Montessori Mile, and Alumni Brunch on Saturday, October 18, or sooner!
