As those who attended Saturday’s CommUNITY Dinner already know, our student performance, Learning from Broadway, was a fabulous way to have Broadway tunes highlight our school’s Core Values – thank you, Stefanie, Ayanna, and all the Teachers who worked with students to learn these popular, energetic songs. The food brought by families was terrific and plentiful, and the spirit of community was evident everywhere! Launching our new Community Agreement at this event was a great reminder of how our shared mission and values make Springmont an extraordinary community. 

Thank you to all the families who attended and brought delicious dishes to share. Thank you to everyone who gave The Gift of Time by helping set up the dining and buffet areas, guiding students through the program, organizing the food, and staying to clean up!  A special thank you to Marie-Laure Coste Dujols (Le Jardin Francais) for donating the beautiful flowers and to John Mansour for taking the remaining food to Clifton Sanctuary, a shelter that puts it to good use each year, helping us to fulfill our commitment to Global Awareness. In keeping with our Core Value, Stewardship of the Environment, we collected 202 pounds of compost, significantly reducing the event's environmental impact!
