News from the Art Studio: Doodle for Google

Just after Spring Break, six Middle School students submitted entries for the 2020 Doodle for Google contest. Their assignment was to create a doodle that illustrated "I show kindness by...". Here are images of the entries submitted by Chloe and Thomas! Chloe's description reads in part: I show kindness by noticing and talking with others when no one else would. Thomas wrote: This is a family that took in a little refugee boy and helped him to grow up. Our students' awareness and compassion are evident even in their art!

Despite the summer heat, Springmont’s shady Toddler Playground was the perfect setting for this morning’s Toddler Playdate. While parents/caregivers chatted with each other and school staff, children enjoyed the play structures as well as the balls, bikes, and other outdoor toys. Opportunities to connect with the school environment and other families are beneficial to students and their parents!

Celebrating Springmont’s 2025 graduates isn’t just an Atlanta thing – it’s a Florida thing, too! We hope all our graduates are spreading their wings; we look forward to seeing you back on campus for our Springmont Festival, Montessori Mile, and Alumni Brunch on Saturday, October 18, or sooner!
