Mark Your Calendars for Springmont's Book Fair - Dec 2-4!

This year, Paper Pie will bring us an outstanding selection of books for all ages! Allowing students the opportunity to choose their own books fosters independence and encourages a love of reading. Parents/guardians are also welcome to shop for holiday gifts!

Tuesday- Thursday, December 2-4
8:30 am - 3 pm

Toddler, Half Day Primary, and All Day & School Day Primary students who nap on campus: Parents shop with or without their child. (We are unable to accommodate student shopping for these ages/levels with our parent volunteers.)
Older Primary students ("Afternooners") who do not nap come to the Book Fair during the school day. Teachers will bring them, and parent volunteers will assist with shopping. Please send $15-25 cash in an envelope labeled with your child’s name.
Elementary and Middle School students may shop independently. Children should bring cash in an envelope labeled with their name. Typically, $20-25 will cover the price of 2-3 paperback books. Parent volunteers will assist children with selection and payment.

All proceeds benefit the Springmont Media Center.

As we prepare for Livia Osorio’s retirement at the end of the school year, we were thrilled to present her with a GISA (Georgia Independent School Association) Distinguished Service Award in recognition of her extraordinary dedication and service to the children and families of Springmont over the past three decades. Livia came to Atlanta in 1996, earning a Master’s in Montessori Education and her AMI certifications at both the Elementary and Primary levels. Livia’s daughter attended FMSA (First Montessori School of Atlanta, Springmont’s original name), and her grandson is a recent Springmont graduate. We thank Livia for her MANY years of loyalty and dedication to Springmont – she has truly impacted more than one generation of Springmont students!
