Help SPA Support Those in Need

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the Springmont Parent Association (SPA) would like to support those in need in our wider community. This year, we will be supporting Solidarity Sandy Springs - a food pantry right here in Sandy Springs that we've supported in years past. Last year, we donated 313 pounds of food. Let's make this year even better!
This week, we will be collecting food items for donation. There is a labeled bin in the Pavilion near the Front Office doors for non-perishable foods. If you can, bring a can (no glass, please)! Anything you can bring is great! If you need inspiration, check out the list of their most needed items.
Solidarity Sandy Springs started in March 2020 to help food-insecure families during the COVID shutdowns. That grew into a community movement to help overlooked families. They serve 750-800 families per week and have served over 100,000 shoppers.
