Get Ready for the Springmont Festival & Montessori Mile - Oct 18!

September 15, 2025
By Julie Strickland

The 30th Springmont Festival & Montessori Mile will be held on Saturday, October 18th! Even if you aren’t a runner, all families are invited to join us on campus for the fun! The day begins with a warm-up in the Pavilion at 8:30, followed by one-mile fun runs on Long Island Drive for adults and children 6-14 years and then dashes for younger students (6 and under) on the Field.

Early Bird Race Registration
All fun run and dash participants, as well as anyone wanting one of the long-sleeved commemorative t-shirts, are encouraged to register! Early Bird Race Registrations are $25 each and are due by 8 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17th. After this date, we cannot guarantee your preferred t-shirt size, and each registration will increase to $30. Click here for Early Bird Race Registration!

Volunteers Needed!
Volunteer opportunities are plentiful and varied and include tasks that can be done in advance of October 18th as well as during the event.  Many hands make light work!  Can we count on you?  Click the link in Springmont Weekly News to view volunteer opportunities!  Have questions? Email Tiffany Orem at torem@springmont.com

Rewards include, but are not limited to, good vibes, feeling proud of yourself, and stepping out of your comfort zone!

Sign-ups will be limited to 12 spots on a first-come, first-served basis. Click the link in Springmont Weekly News to register.

Performers will have approximately 7 minutes to sing, play, or dance. All acts must be pre-approved by Music Teacher Stefanie Freinkel by October 10th
