Coffee with the Counselors - May 7!

Please join School Counselors Ann Van Buskirk and Katie Polanco for Coffee with the Counselors on Wednesday, May 7th, beginning at 8:45 a.m.

Our topic for this final Coffee with the Counselors this school year will be So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Good Bye… No matter how we say it, goodbyes are important. We will discuss supporting our children in saying goodbyes, not only to school for the summer but across a multitude of transitions.

All parents and caregivers are welcome and encouraged to bring other concerns and discussion topics, too! Kindly click the link in Springmont Weekly News to RSVP so we can plan seats and breakfast treats!

Today, a small group of students from Marianna’s Upper Elementary class was delighted to be joined by Springmont grandparent Doris Zablah, who helped them make homemade tortillas from Honduras! In addition to learning new Spanish vocabulary, students learned about the ingredients, preparation, and cooking of this special meal. Immersive experiences like this one inspire authentic learning and global awareness. Thank you, Doris, Anabel, and Lawrence!
