Classroom Observations Begin Soon!
September 14, 2026

We are excited to offer parents/guardians of Toddler, Primary, and Elementary students opportunities to see their children's classrooms in action! Parent observations provide an authentic glimpse of the school day – friendships, teachers, environments, and learning – and are an excellent way for parents/guardians to learn more about Montessori.
All parents are encouraged to observe in their children's classrooms before Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences, which will take place on campus on October 30 and November 6. Observations give parents a glimpse of their own child's day, as well as an overall picture of how a Montessori classroom fosters creativity, engaged learning, authentic social interactions, and more.
- Primary & Elementary Observations are held in person and will be offered in the morning after arrival carpools have concluded, beginning September 28 and continuing on designated days through October 28. We will share more details and the SignUp link with families this week!
- Because our youngest students are less able to maintain concentration when parents/guardians visit their classroom in person and may feel distressed when parents/guardians depart, observations of Toddler classrooms are done via Zoom. Toddler/Primary Division Head Anne Ledoux will host the Zoom sessions, spending approximately 20 minutes in the classroom and leaving time at the end to answer questions. Dates are posted to the school calendar. There’s no need to RSVP.
