Hometown: Knoxville, TN

Anna came to Springmont in 2025 and loves Montessori's holistic, child-centered approach because it nurtures curiosity and fosters independence, critical thinking, and creativity. In addition, Anna notes the importance of the mixed-age classes for promoting collaboration and community among diverse learners and likes that the hands-on, experiential learning emphasizes understanding over rote memorization, encouraging a lifelong love for learning. Outside of school, Anna spends time with her three miniature Dachshunds and enjoys reading - her favorite series is Harry Potter.

Fun Fact: Ann has four siblings, including an identical twin sister!
