Saying Goodbye to Toddler/Primary Division Head Cara Friedline

We are sorry to let you know that Cara Friedline has let us know that she does not plan to return to Springmont next year. As some of you may know, her parents have been ill, and their care needs her full attention at this time. Cara has been at Springmont for 12 years in various roles, including parent, Primary Teacher, and administrator. We will dearly miss her deep Montessori wisdom as well as her steadfast leadership. Cara’s love for young students and her experienced guidance for families have made a meaningful and lasting impact on so many in our community.

The Upper Elementary production of Disney's Newsies Jr. performed on Friday evening, was awesome! Kudos to our students and Music Teacher Stefanie Freinkel, and a big THANK YOU to all who helped make this an amazing experience for our students and families! Opportunities to work as an ensemble benefit students as they learn to collaborate, cooperate, and support one another!

As announced at this morning’s Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast, parents Anupa Deshpande (center) and Laura Gibson (right) are our 2024-25 Volunteers of the Year! Both have served our school community in several capacities this year, including on our Strategic Planning Committee, at our Landschool Work Weekend, and as caretakers of our barnyard animals on weekends and during school breaks. Thank you, Anupa and Laura, for your dedication and selfless gifts of time and energy!
