International Night Drive-In Movie - Friday, February 19!

February 01, 2021
By Julie Strickland

International Night is Springmont’s annual celebration of our school’s diversity and the lives and cultures of people around the world.  Traditionally, we gather off-campus in February for a musical performance by students followed by a huge potluck buffet. Because large gatherings are not possible due to the pandemic, this year, we will host families for a drive-in movie with an international theme!  Mark your calendars for the evening of Friday, February 19, and plan to join us for a screening of Born to Be Wild, a heartwarming film documenting orphaned orangutans and elephants and the extraordinary people who rescue and raise them-saving endangered species one life at a time. Click here to view the trailer and stay tuned for registration information!

In the meantime, instead of pondering what delicious dish you might have prepared, share your recipe!  The Springmont Parent Association is gathering recipes for a Springmont Favorites Cookbook.  The due date for emailing recipes to Ann Colonna is TODAY!

The Springmont Parent Association will also be sharing information via Room Parents about continuing our tradition of making Valentines for seniors in our community.  Finished cards may be brought to school by February 11.
