Giuliana is Head of School for the Day!

Upper Elementary student Giuliana is Head of School for the Day TODAY! Her parents were the winning bidders for this coveted opportunity offered during the live portion of Springmont's Masquerade Auction Gala last month.

After greeting families at arrival carpool, Giuliana will meet with administrators, participate in an admission tour, help with Field Day and Book Fair plans, observe Toddler & Lower Elementary classrooms, enjoy lunch off campus, and offer her classmates a sweet treat at the end of the day. In addition, she will be organizing and distributing special envelopes to all Elementary & Middle School students. One will contain a "golden ticket" that provides an oversized chocolate bar to the lucky winner!

We are excited about Giuliana's leadership today!

Yesterday, Livia’s Lower Elementary Class visited Island Ford Park, where they learned about birdsongs and rock formations, visited the interactive museum, hiked, and enjoyed a picnic lunch! Exploring nature fosters Stewardship of the Environment by promoting an understanding, appreciation, and desire to protect the natural world.

The Upper Elementary production of Disney's Newsies Jr. performed on Friday evening, was awesome! Kudos to our students and Music Teacher Stefanie Freinkel, and a big THANK YOU to all who helped make this an amazing experience for our students and families! Opportunities to work as an ensemble benefit students as they learn to collaborate, cooperate, and support one another!
