Engage with Elizabeth is an opportunity for Head of School Elizabeth Lener to share a few words about the work and mission of Springmont, our strategic plan, upcoming events, and ways to get the most out of your Springmont experience.

All parents are automatically members of the Springmont Parent Association (SPA)! Join Co-Chairs Steve Little, Kathleen Phelps, and Mary Kamau to hear how you can get involved in upcoming events like the Springmont Festival & Montessori Mile.

There’s no need to RSVP, but we hope to see you in the Media Center tomorrow afternoon!

This past Friday evening, families from all three Toddler classes came together for a Potluck Picnic! In addition to enjoying food and conversation with one another, this event enables families with young children to feel connected to each other and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging. Thank you to Room Parents and teachers for organizing this!

Because we recognize the importance of music and movement in early childhood development, Springmont’s Primary students enjoy music classes with Fine Arts Specialist Ayanna Talton every week. In addition to enhancing spatial awareness and gross motor skills, this fun, small-group opportunity promotes the development of memory, cooperation, concentration, listening skills, and language, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning and academic success. Extraordinary!
