Middle School Market - May 14 & 15

Springmont’s Middle School students are thrilled to announce a used book sale happening on May 14th and 15th! This student-led initiative is a wonderful example of how we put Springmont’s core values - Stewardship of the Environment and Creativity - into action! By collecting and reselling used books, we are promoting sustainability by reducing waste and giving books a new life in someone else’s hands.

The sale will take place in the Pavilion from 3:15 to 4:30 on May 14th and 15th, and all proceeds will help fund the Middle School’s future trips and experiences. Feel free to drop off any books you no longer want in the bin near the Front Office doors.

Yesterday, Livia’s Lower Elementary Class visited Island Ford Park, where they learned about birdsongs and rock formations, visited the interactive museum, hiked, and enjoyed a picnic lunch! Exploring nature fosters Stewardship of the Environment by promoting an understanding, appreciation, and desire to protect the natural world.

The Upper Elementary production of Disney's Newsies Jr. performed on Friday evening, was awesome! Kudos to our students and Music Teacher Stefanie Freinkel, and a big THANK YOU to all who helped make this an amazing experience for our students and families! Opportunities to work as an ensemble benefit students as they learn to collaborate, cooperate, and support one another!
