DEI Update and iChange Collaborative Workshop for Parents

In addition to our existing Statement of Diversity and Inclusivity, Springmont has formalized a new protocol for Reporting Incidents of Prejudice or Hatred.
All parents are invited to attend Let’s Get Real: Talking about Race with Children on Tuesday, December 1, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
- How can we nurture understanding about race in our children?
- How are conversations about race in families of color different than conversations happening in white families?
- How can we safeguard the well-being of our children?
Race is often the elephant in the room, often “felt” rather than talked about. Yet our experience of race is a fundamental aspect of how we see the world. If you’re interested in having a courageous conversation about the impact of race on the lives of children and families, please join us for this interactive community workshop.
