Coffee with Jon & Volunteer Engagement Survey

All parents are invited to join Head of School Jon Alden for coffee and conversation on Friday, February 28, beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Media Center. Discussion will focus on your thoughts and preferences about a school parent association and the role of IMPACT (Springmont's parent organization) in the Springmont community.

All parents are also encouraged to complete a 5-minute Volunteer Engagement Survey designed to capture the thoughts of parents who may not be able to attend the morning discussion with Jon. Responses are confidential and anonymous and will be viewed at an aggregated level. The survey is open now and will close Wednesday, February 26. Click the link in Monday's Springmont Weekly News to begin!

Feedback from both the parent coffee and the survey will be used to inform potential changes to the structure and function of IMPACT.

Yesterday’s Strings Recital was outstanding! Led by Music Teacher Stefanie Freinkel, Elementary and Middle School students delighted parents and guests with selections ranging from folk songs and Suzuki favorites to Bach and Schumann. It was amazing to see and hear how much the last 5 months of hard work and practice have improved the students’ skills and confidence. Bravo!!

Don’t miss this Friday’s Bake Sale, the final one hosted by Nathalie’s Class this school year! Students have been baking industriously and will offer Lemon Brownies, Zucchini Bread, Muffins, Monkey Bread, and Garlic Parmesan Herb Loaves in the Pavilion at 3:00 pm! CASH only, please! Proceeds will be donated to an organization chosen by the students. What could be better than supporting entrepreneurship and philanthropy while enjoying a baked treat?!?
