BRAVO for Annie, Jr!

Friday evening's performance of Annie, Jr. was outstanding! We are so proud of our Upper Elementary students and thankful for all who helped make this production possible - Parents, Teachers, Assistants, Director & Music Teacher Carissa Gibson, Assistant Director Jay Williams, Choreographer Johnna Mitchell, Director of Technology Kelcy Gatson, and Art Teachers Theresa Dean and Claire Tadeo. Don’t miss this Friday’s Bake Sale, the final one hosted by Nathalie’s Class this school year! Students have been baking industriously and will offer Lemon Brownies, Zucchini Bread, Muffins, Monkey Bread, and Garlic Parmesan Herb Loaves in the Pavilion at 3:00 pm! CASH only, please! Proceeds will be donated to an organization chosen by the students. What could be better than supporting entrepreneurship and philanthropy while enjoying a baked treat?!?

One of Montessori’s most amazing and versatile math materials is the Stamp Game, which helps children develop a more abstract understanding of the decimal system by building on the foundation laid with the Golden Beads. Primary and Elementary students use the Stamp Game to practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and even division with multi-digit numbers while also memorizing math facts. Extraordinary!
