Alumni Spotlight: Meet Bryce Jones

As he prepares for graduation from Mount Vernon Presbyterian School in a few weeks and matriculation to Brown University in the fall, Bryce Jones shares these words:
"My experiences at Springmont, spanning from kindergarten through the eighth grade, helped to define who I am today. The Montessori-based pedagogy allowed me to develop a love of learning for the sake of learning and a sense of curiosity that overruled a desire to simply memorize and regurgitate content. Even as an Elementary student, I felt I had the freedom to explore what interested me with the knowledge that my teachers would support me in my pursuits. I believe I am a more dedicated student and a generally more inquisitive person as a result."
We are delighted to know that Bryce's Springmont experience has helped him become such an authentically engaged student!
