As an educator and library media specialist with over 15 years of experience in traditional education, Leslie discovered Springmont in 2006 while seeking the best educational approach for her oldest child. Instantly intrigued by the Montessori philosophy, she felt this was the best choice for her family and for her professionally. She loves the environment that nurtures curiosity and celebrates diversity. Every day, she enjoys working with children to quench their thirst for knowledge by guiding them through research and book selection. One of her favorite aspects of Montessori is how it extends far beyond the classroom, shaping compassionate and globally aware children. 

In her free time, Leslie enjoys walking her dogs, exercising, and traveling.
