Yearbook Cover Art Contest Winners

There were so many lovely entries it was very difficult to choose, but congratulations belong to Lower Elementary student Thomas Watson for creating the 1st place selection (pictured at right) and to Middle School students Chloe Hess and Zoe Luna for 2nd and 3rd places, respectively. Thomas' art will grace the cover and Chloe and Zoe's pieces will also be featured in our 2018-19 Yearbook.

It finally feels like spring, and Primary students are busy in classroom gardens! In addition to engaging young children’s innate sense of curiosity, wonder, and joy, gardening helps children develop an appreciation for the natural world and builds the foundation for environmental stewardship, mindsets essential to taking care of our planet!

Remzije’s students were fascinated to watch Springmont’s friendly Facilities Manager making small repairs to their garden gate! Toddlers learn so much by observing the world and people around them, including patience, new vocabulary, and in this case, how tools work and how tasks are completed. Thank you, Mr. Juan!
