Field Day Fun!

Thanks to the enthusiastic efforts of dozens of parent volunteers and our Middle school students, Primary and Elementary students enjoyed a fabulous Field Day! A special thank you to parent co-chairs Sheryl Clark, Maria Healy, Wendy Sandvi and Shama Shah. It wouldn’t be spring at Springmont unless Elementary classrooms were home to baby chicks! Ellen’s Upper Elementary students, pictured here, are experts at ensuring these little ones have the food, water, and warmth they need. Students also make sure our flock is accustomed to human touch, helping them become friendly, intelligent, and sociable. In addition to learning how living things grow and change, students practice responsibility, patience, and empathy and gain a deeper appreciation for the world around them. Extraordinary!
