Springmont is a non-profit organization dependent upon tuition as its principal source of income. In addition to setting tuition to include all expenses except personal and optional fees, the tuition setting philosophy of Springmont is to have a simple structure with few step increases across the 12 ages served.


Tuition, Financial Aid & Payment Options

  • Tuition

    Annual tuition and fees cover the basic cost of educating your child at Springmont. Included are the cost of instruction, materials, class Field Trips, Landschool trips, standardized tests and student accident insurance. Tuition does not include optional expenses such as Going Out trips, individual school pictures, or personal/individual expenses such as violin repair, opera costumes, Elementary Performance attire, extra Educational Support Services, or meals and personal expenses on 6th year Excursions or Middle School End-of Year trips.
  • Deposits/Fees

    • A $75.00 non-refundable application fee is required with all new applications.
    • In addition to tuition, Springmont charges a New Student Registration Fee of $500.00. This fee is non-refundable and is due with the initial tuition.
    • A $1,000.00 tuition deposit is due along with each signed tuition contract. Tuition deposits are non-refundable. Tuition deposits are credited against tuition.
      • Returning Students: Contracts and deposits are due March 1.
      • New Students: Contracts and deposits are due April 13.
  • Financial Aid

    In addition to setting tuition to include all expenses except personal and optional fees, Springmont encourages families enrolling multiple students or experiencing hardship to apply for Financial Aid. Springmont has more than doubled the number of awards over the past three years and strives to continue this trend.  

    The Financial Aid process is confidential. Springmont utilizes a 3rd party financial aid evaluation service, FAST, Powered by ISM, to analyze applications and make recommendations regarding awards. Applications are made online at the FAST portal. Applications are due by January 6th for the upcoming school year.  Awards are communicated to families as part of offered contracts. The range of awards is between 5% and 50%, however there is no guarantee of an award and applications must be submitted annually for reconsideration.

    Families receiving a Financial Aid award may utilize any of the payment options offered by Springmont including various payment plans administered by FAST, Springmont's tuition management service.

  • Payment Options

    Springmont offers a variety of payment options including:

    • ONE PAYMENT WITH EARLY PAYMENT DISCOUNT - Families who pay tuition and all other applicable fees, including non-refundable New Student $500 Registration fee, by June 1 will receive a 2% discount.
    • ONE PAYMENT – Full tuition and all other applicable fees, including non-refundable New Student $500 Registration fee, are due July 15. (For students enrolling after July 15, tuition balance and all other applicable fees are due before the student may attend class.)
    • SIX or NINE PAYMENTS - Families may choose to pay tuition and all other applicable fees, including non-refundable New Student $500 Registration fee, via payment plans administered by FACTS Tuition Management. Families who wish to utilize a payment plan may need to begin payments as early as April for final payment to be received by December, in accordance with Springmont's standard practice.  To sign-up for a FACTS tuition payment plan, please visit the FACTS website or call FACTS customer service at 1-800-624-7092. FACTS offers credit card options (2.5% fee per payment) and electronic bank account drafts ($41 one-time set-up fee). Springmont’s Institution ID is 26917 and PIN Number  is 30327.
